What time is it?👂🏽GOOD NEWS TIME!!!

I recently had the opportunity to participate in an event that deeply resonated with me and filled me with renewed purpose. I was invited to be a vendor at the "Community Wellness Festival" hosted by St. Matthew's New Life United Methodist Church. Normally, I don't vend unless I'm speaking, but this time was different. Just the day before, I had celebrated the life of my best friend’s niece, a vibrant young woman whose life was tragically cut short at just age 29, leaving behind two small children. The pain of her loss underscored the crucial importance of final expense planning—a message that our community desperately needs to hear.

With a heavy heart but a determined spirit, I felt compelled to attend, knowing that by being there, I could help spread awareness about funeral planning in our local inner-city community, where this knowledge is often lacking. It was a moment of turning grief into action, hoping to make a difference in the lives of others.

This event was unlike any other—it was a vibrant gathering filled with community resource vendors, free health screenings, a marching band, line dancing, children's activities, back to school supplies, and even free food.

The energy at the festival was unmatched! It was a joy to not only connect with so many wonderful people from the community but also to be part of such an impactful event. It was truly something special, where everyone came together to support and celebrate wellness in our community.

I'm incredibly grateful to have been part of the staff and to contribute to this amazing event. It was an experience I'll always remember! Shout out to Rev Briscoe, Ms Kathy Miller, and Eric Briscoe Sr (who are both clients) of the St. Matthews New Life Church who hosted this amazing event! I believe God was pleased with the service and sacrifice for this amazing event!💗💗👏🏽
