Hi Friends,

Earlier today, I had the honor of participating in the Lessons From the Stage panel hosted by WBEC Greater DMV alongside an incredible group of women entrepreneurs. It was such a meaningful experience to reflect on the journey and share insights with aspiring business owners preparing to step into the Powerplay Pitch Competition themselves. 💚

As I sat on that panel today, I couldn’t help but think back to my very first pitch competition. I remember feeling nervous, excited, uncertain, and hopeful all at the same time. I had no idea where that one opportunity would lead me or how many doors it would open.

Now, being in a position where I can encourage others, share what I’ve learned, and hopefully help someone else take that leap with more confidence… it truly feels like a full-circle moment. 🙏🏾

Pitching is about so much more than presenting a business idea. It stretches you, sharpens your message, builds your confidence, and places you in rooms that can completely change your future.

I’m incredibly grateful to WBEC Greater DMV for continuing to create opportunities and spaces that empower women entrepreneurs to grow, connect, and be seen. And thank you to everyone who joined us today and supported the conversation.

The future is bright, and I’m excited to see the next wave of entrepreneurs rise.
